Breakage Deposit
A refundable breakage deposit of R4000 is payable directly to the property.
House Rules
Access & Vehicle Requirements: A 4x4 vehicle is required to reach the property due to sandy roads. Guests must obtain an entry and exit permit at the estate gate and return it upon departure. A public launch site is available nearby.
Safety & Facilities: The house has a septic tank—only single-ply toilet paper may be flushed. The swimming pool has no safety features; all use of the pool and related amenities is at guests’ own risk.
Power & Fuel: A generator is available for power outages. Fuel is not provided but can be purchased locally. Canisters for fuel storage are available on the property.
What to Bring: Guests should bring beach towels, personal toiletries, sunscreen, mosquito repellant, washing powder, food and drinks, ice, drinking water, beach equipment, and personal items. Charcoal and fire starters are required for the built-in braai facilities.
Staff & Services: Anna (housekeeper) handles cleaning, bed-making, and dishwashing. Absa (gardener) maintains the braai area, garden, and general upkeep. For groups of more than 10 guests, additional staff may be provided. Staff hours are weekdays 08:00–16:00 and weekends/public holidays 08:00–14:00. On Christmas Day, staff will attend for a maximum of 2 hours in the morning if required. A compulsory daily staff levy is payable in cash per staff member, including the arrival and departure days. Laundry services are available on request and may be arranged directly with Anna. Additional services beyond standard duties can be negotiated directly with staff.
Breakage Deposit & Check-Out: A refundable breakage deposit is required and will be returned after departure. Late check-out may be arranged on request, subject to availability. Standard check-out time is 15:00 unless otherwise agreed.
Guests & Conduct: No pets are permitted. Loud music, parties, or functions are not allowed. Estate rules require low noise levels after 22:30. Non-compliance may result in forfeiture of the breakage deposit and possible eviction.
Age Policy: Groups with younger guests must ensure that no one under 25 stays without parental or adult supervision.
