Balie’s Gat Camping is located on a farm about 35 km from the town of Op-die-Berg in the scenic Koue Bokkeveld. It can only be accessed with a vehicle that has high ground clearance.
Balie’s Gat Camping offers 5 separate campsites, each with a braai area, fire pit, water tap, and a dishwashing station with a bucket and drying rack. There are also private ablution facilities with solar-powered lighting and hot water for the shower. Guests can bring their own tents or caravans, or there is an option to rent equipment from the accommodation itself.
There is a river with rock pools on the property, and guests can enjoy hiking, trail running, and mountain biking, as there are many paths and routes to explore. In the evenings, guests can admire the spectacular stars.
