Breakage Deposit

A refundable breakage deposit of R2 000 is payable directly to the property.

House Rules

Wildlife Safety
- Keep all windows and doors closed when leaving the house and before retiring for the evening to prevent wildlife from entering the property.
- Do not leave food unattended outdoors, as monkeys and baboons are common visitors in the area.
- Never feed, approach, chase, harass, or attempt to interact with wildlife.
- Any damages resulting from negligence, including wildlife entering the property due to open doors or windows, will be charged to the responsible guest.

Noise and Conduct
- Loud music, parties, and excessive noise are strictly prohibited.
- Quiet hours are observed daily from 22:00 to 06:00.
- Should the house rules be violated and a complaint be received, the owner and managing agent reserve the right to deduct a penalty from the refundable damage deposit at their sole discretion. This decision is final and non-negotiable.

Fire Safety
- Fires are permitted only in designated braai and fire pit areas.
- During periods of high fire risk, open fires may be prohibited. Guests must comply with all fire restrictions communicated by reserve management.
- Guests are responsible for ensuring fires are properly extinguished before leaving them unattended.

Environmental Conservation
- Do not litter anywhere within the property or reserve.
- Do not remove plants, rocks, wood, or any other natural items from the reserve.
- Help preserve the natural environment by respecting the flora, fauna, and surrounding ecosystem.

Visitors and Access
- Only registered overnight guests are permitted within the reserve.
- Outside day visitors are generally not permitted unless specifically authorised by reserve management.

Security and Personal Belongings
- While the reserve has controlled access and security measures in place, guests remain responsible for the safekeeping of their personal belongings.
- The owner, managing agent, and reserve management cannot be held liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal property.

Damages and Liability
- Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property, its contents, or reserve facilities during their stay.
- Additional charges may apply for damages, excessive cleaning requirements, or breaches of these house rules.
- Deductions from the refundable damage deposit may be made at the discretion of management to cover repair, replacement, cleaning, or penalty costs arising from negligence or non-compliance.
