Ruby Star is located on a working stone fruit farm just 7 km from Tulbagh and offers a peaceful retreat for small families.
This semi-detached, self-catering farm cottage is ideal for 2 adults and 2 children, accommodating up to 4 guests. It features 1 bedroom with a queen-size bed, and 2 single beds are available in the living area. Guests share a separate bathroom fitted with a bath and a shower.
The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, small oven, microwave, and a dining table. A standalone fan is available in summer, and the lounge area has comfortable seating, a Jetmaster fireplace, and a TV with a satellite dish. Guests are required to bring their own remote, smart card, and decoder.
Outside, there is a patio with braai facilities and a wood-fired hot tub overlooking the natural surroundings—perfect for relaxing in the peaceful farm atmosphere.

There is a gravel road leading up to the property and low-clearance vehicles may find the road challenging. Drive slowly and cautiously.
Due to the gravel terrain and staircase, the property is not suitable for young children, the elderly, or guests with disabilities.
Firewood is provided for the first fire and additional firewood is available at an extra cost.
Smoking indoors is strictly prohibited. There are bins provided for cigarette butts.
Loud noises and music are not permitted. Guests are asked to be mindful of noise levels after 20:00.
Parties and events will not be tolerated.
Pets are not allowed.
Do not use the stove and chimney when in use as they get extremely hot.
Kindly ensure that embers are completely extinguished before leaving the fire unattended.
To avoid damaging the filtration system, please refrain from using soap or bubbles in the hot tub.
The cottage is situated on a working fruit farm and management will always inform guests of the spraying times. Guests will be sharing the farm roads with the owners and there may be farm vehicles and machinery in operation. Please adhere to the 10km/h speed limit.
Management reserves the right to inspect the unit at any time to ensure compliance with these rules.
