Bertley’s Family Holiday House is a spacious, self-catering home nestled in the heart of Vermont — the perfect escape for families looking to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy quality time together. Just a short stroll from the beach, it offers the ideal setting for relaxed coastal living and memorable family holidays.
Designed with comfort and togetherness in mind, this double-storey home accommodates up to 12 guests across 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Each room is thoughtfully furnished with either a king-size bed, queen-size bed, or twin beds, creating a restful retreat for everyone. Two bedrooms feature en-suite bathrooms, while the others share a bathroom, with an additional guest toilet upstairs. Linen and towels are provided for your convenience.
The heart of the home is its welcoming open-plan kitchen and living area — a space where families can cook, gather, and unwind together. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including a fridge-freezer, gas stove, oven, microwave, and a separate scullery with a washing machine and dishwasher. The cosy living area, complete with a fireplace and DStv, opens onto two balconies, perfect for morning coffees or evening sunsets.
For a bit of fun and friendly competition, the games room features a pool table and dartboard — sure to keep both kids and adults entertained.
Outside, you’ll find braai facilities on both balconies, making it easy to enjoy laid-back meals in the fresh sea air. The property is fully enclosed, with secure parking and an alarm system, giving you peace of mind throughout your stay.

From scenic coastal walks and whale watching to sea kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, and horse riding, there’s something for everyone. A visit to the nearby Vermont Salt Pan offers the chance to spot beautiful flamingos in their natural habitat.
