Great value for money. 2nd visit and still a great option. Three small items need attention: mirrors in bathrooms, toilet paper in bathrooms, and adherence to noise and music regulations.

Our stay was lovely and the hospitality was exceptional. We really felt welcomed. The hospitality was amazing. Accommodation was exactly how it looked in the pictures. We enjoyed the pool area while listening to music. We played snooker. Enjoyed the lovely scenery with the animals, pool and pond.

Nice but disappointing stay. This was our second stay at Big Creek but unfortunately, it was less enjoyable than the first time. The lodge has deteriorated in terms of facilities, amenities and safety. The rooms, while clean, need renovation. From loose plug points and tiles to uncomfortable beds, a little bit of TLC could have made our stay so much better. In terms of amenities, we experienced an electricity outage and a few water outages during our stay with little to no communication from those running the lodge. Lastly, in terms of security, this left much to be desired. On arrival, we were just let in with no formal check-in procedure at the gate. We also did not witness any security patrolling on any of the nights we stayed. On our last night, there was an emergency requiring security's intervention, but we could not locate security. When security eventually arrived, the only illumination he had was from a cellphone torch. While we really enjoy staying at Big Creek as a family, we simply cannot return until several improvements are made.

Had a lovely time! Amazing service from the staff, they really went above and beyond to help us have a good stay! My son had an absolute ball on their jungle gym, and the pool was designed with children in mind, with a very large shallow end.
