Description
Uitkyk @ Boe-Boe's Nest is situated on the Plato Complex between Swartruggens and Koster, 23 km from Koster, the nearest town. The property is a birdwatcher's paradise and is home to some game, including impalas, blesboks, kudus, nyala, and bushbucks.
The chalet can accommodate 5 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, while the second bedroom contains 2 single beds. An additional single bed is provided in the living-kitchen area. The bedrooms share a bathroom fitted with a shower, washbasin, and toilet. Linen is provided, and guests are required to bring their own towels.
The open-plan living area features a kitchen equipped with a 2-plate stove, fridge-freezer, and cutlery and crockery. The lounge area includes seating, and guests have access to a braai area. During the summer, a communal pool is available for a refreshing break.
On-site activities include a circular hiking trail of approximately 3 km that allows guests to climb the gorge. Fishing is possible in the nearby spots, with carp, bass, and tilapia available. Guests can also explore the area on mountain bikes, enjoy the free putt-putt course, and make use of table tennis facilities. Secure parking is provided for all guests.
