Always a magical experience. We have been coming to the Onverwacht cottages for many years and the stays are always such a peaceful and restful experience. It is truly a magical place. Don't expect 5 star accommodation or WiFi. I would rate the accommodation to be a 5 star Scottish Bothy, but then this is what it's all about. Back to basics and old school mountain living. Highly recommended for mountain lovers and nature seekers.

Quiet with breathtaking views. We had plenty of wood, but the fireplace in the cottage was out of order. The toilet was a problem. Almost no leg room. But other than that we had a great time.

Rustig met asemrowende uitsig. Ons het baie hout gehad, maar die kaggel in die huisie was buite werking. Die toilet was 'n probleem. Amper geen been spasie. Maar buiten vir dit het ons lekker gekuier.
