Elegant, peaceful, nostalgic. One for the books! Customer service was top notch. Accommodation very neatly laid out and felt like home very quickly, especially after the fire was lit. The management was kind enough to upgrade us to a larger unit at no cost, now that's service! Beautiful tree-house stay! Stunning place, with everything you need. You get a lot of 'place' for your money. Kitchen very well equipped, just think that for the price you pay, firewood could be supplied, as well as coffee/sugar etc. - as 99% of places supply that anyway. A toilet in the kitchen would be nice, so you don't have to go all the way up the tree-house. And just for a better view of the mountains and valley beyond, maybe trim the tree tops a bit - would be really stunning as currently not much of a view as the trees block it all. Bed and pillows slightly dated for what you pay.

Enjoyable, but desperate TLC needed in the amenities. The view and setup was amazing. The perfect "getaway" in the bush. However, the kitchen wasn't clean when we arrived. We had to clean the filters on all taps as it was severely blocked, rusted and filthy. We had to wash everything before we could use it and several utensils were too rusted to be used. The entrance to Zebra House was completely overgrown, which scratched the vehicle far too much. Not even a small vehicle would have made it. We had to clear the entrance ourselves. The parking area was also too small for a bakkie to park and turn around. With some TLC and maintenance, this would be the perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature.
