House Rules
A Conservation Fee of R165 per car, per visit is collected at the Guernsey Conservancy Control Gate
Please note that sections of the accommodation are accessed via stairs and ramps, and may not be suitable for young children, the elderly, or guests with disabilities. The property has dirt roads and paths connecting all buildings, which may sometimes be wet or uneven. Guests are advised to bring a torch for nighttime use, as the property follows a Dark Skies philosophy with minimal outside lighting at night.
Children under the age of 6 are not allowed due to safety concerns with the height and structure of the tree houses, nearby Big 5 electric fences, buffalo herd, and other large wildlife freely roaming the property.
Guests are required to sign an indemnity form and agree to the House Rules provided.
A reserve fee of R165.00 per car is required to enter the private reserve. This conservation fee will be collected at check-in, and an exit permit will be issued and allow entry and exit durring the stay.
No pets are allowed.
Please refrain from gathering firewood in the bush; guests should bring their own wood or charcoal. Fires should not be made during windy conditions, and all fires should be extinguished and covered with the provided Fire Cap when finished.
There is a gravel road leading to the property. Guests are advised to inquire about the condition of the road before arrival, as weather conditions can temporarily make it impassable without a 4-wheel drive vehicle.
