The best holiday so far. Our stay was exceptional. As a family, we enjoyed it. Perfect location right next to Lucien Beach.

Great venue but disappointed with how the weekend turned out. We had a wonderful stay this past weekend. The place was lovely. There was one snag, however, which I need to bring to your attention. Saturday morning at 8:30 am, power went out. The entire area of Uvongo had no power the whole day until 8:30 pm. Exactly 12 hours. Now, according to local shop owners we spoke to, this was a scheduled shutdown due to prior cable theft in the area. If we had known about this, we would have changed our booking date. It was a big inconvenience to us as the food that we had taken had gone bad. This gave us an additional expense of purchasing food and ice just to keep items cool. There were also things that were not working in the premises which I informed the people about. I was told someone would come through in the morning, and nobody has arrived. I don't think it is fair that we stayed practically the entire day without power and it was only restored when everyone decided to go to bed as we had nothing to do in the dark. Furthermore, we now have to wait up to 20 odd days for our deposit to be returned to us even though the people from the property management called me yesterday to say that people were coming in the same day and they were looking for the key, even after we had dropped it off early. So surely all should be checked and cleared before the next group of people go to stay. Anyway, I do not want to come across as ungrateful; like I said, the facility was great, but Saturday (full day at the venue) was not a good day for us. We should have been informed of the outage.

Sal nie weer daar woon nie. Stoep/Braai area was glad nie skoon gemaak nie. Wou nie eers braai nie, so sleg was dit.
