Description

Cathkin Haven is situated on a secure estate in the Champagne Valley of the Drakensberg. It is ideal for a family seeking a comfortable and peaceful getaway away from the city.

The modern house accommodates 8 guests in 4 bedrooms, 3 of which have en-suite bathrooms fitted with baths and showers. Two bedrooms are furnished with king-size beds, and the other 2 bedrooms each have 2 single beds that can be converted into a king-size bed.

The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge-freezer. The open-plan living area includes a flat-screen TV, fireplace, and a sliding door that opens onto a patio with comfortable furniture, a built-in braai, and views of Champagne Castle and Cathkin Peak.

The house is cleaned before arrival and after departure. Daily cleaning services are available on request at an additional cost. The garage contains a washing machine and tumble dryer, and there is hanging space in a small outside room near the kitchen. The garage accommodates 2 vehicles and has a sliding door leading to the front entrance. Portable braai equipment is provided.

An inverter provides power to the TV and Wi-Fi during load-shedding. Special ceiling lights are installed in each room, and load-shedding bulbs are available in the bedroom lamps.
