Thank you for your constructive criticism. Unfortunately, you didn't show me some important points until the end of your stay, so I could only react quite late. In the meantime, the Internet signal has been strengthened (to 250/100 Mbps). I also found out that the internet part of the TV was defective and had to be replaced. We will only get the problem with the necessary restart of the gas burner for the instantaneous water heater after a load shedding under control when the capacity of our backup system has been doubled, which has already been commissioned.

When Constantia Holiday Homes say 'self care' they mean SELF care. There isn't even a black bag for the trash, let alone coffee, tea or salt. There is no soap, shampoo, cream, hairdryer etc. available. These items are expected at a 3-5 star unit. An old coffee filter filled with used coffee was still in the coffee machine. The braai was left dirty after a previous braai. The DSTV did not work. The worst part was that the owner was not available to check us out. My flight was already at 6:30 in the morning and I would have to leave at 5:00. My friend was told to drop me off at the airport and then drive back to the owner's house (which is not on the unit's premises) to drop off the key. Another thing that one does not expect from a 3-5 star unit. The Chenin unit's decor and layout is beautiful, but unfortunately our stay was not worth the money.

Very warm reception. The place is really safe and well located. We had a small problem with the DStv but the owners provided us with Netflix because the DStv was out of their control. Service was excellent at all times. Will definitely go again.
