The place is so fantastic, quiet and clean. The staff are so helpful and communicate well with customers.

In future, I would like to book for my family and friends to come and have fun at the De Wildt 4X4. Really, I did enjoy and my wife loves the place.

Our stay was amazing.

Staff and management are welcoming and friendly. The place is clean and safe. Other visitors are polite to each other.

Prys per nag vir 'n 2x2 m tent met slegs 2 enkelbeddens en geen elektrisiteit is bietjie ergs.

Nornaalweg kry ons 'n e-pos wat alles uiteensit. In hierdie geval was daar niks. Gelukkig het ons toevallig handdoeke, eetgerei, koppies en flisligte ingelaai anders was ons totaal in die donker. Die prys per nag was letterlik slegs vir 2 enkelbeddens in 'n 2x2 m tent. Hierdie tentopsie is beslis nie die geld werd nie. Ek kon my eie, groter tent gevat het en dan het dit slegs R280 per nag gekos.

This was my first and best camp ever. Even my fellow campers were friendly. The monkeys waved at us as we were hiking. A home away from home.

Shady and clean.

Love it. Nice stand at the Loerie Camp, nice shades, clean ablutions, hot water, and rest.

The accommodation is not value for money.

We were so disappointed with the accommodation. For R 850 per night, I expected more than an outside shower and a bed to sleep on. It was a self-catering unit with no facilities to self-cater. There was one small table in the unit with two plates, two glasses, to sherry glasses, and two mugs. The plates and mugs were steel which felt so cheap. Furthermore, there was no place to prepare food on, the kettle was a gas kettle, there were pots and pans but there was no gas facility to use the kettle on. When we wanted coffee we called reception and asked them if they could bring us an electric kettle so that we could at least warm water because starting a campfire to boil a kettle was ridiculous. Then the outside showers warm water was not working, we had to ask them to come and assist in getting the hot water on because it is winter so no, a cold shower outside is not ideal. The worker explained to us that the switch on the geyser was loose and that you had to first press the broken lid of the switch to the geyser unit before the geyser would kick on to make the water hot. They had an alarm system which is one of those make-belief systems to scare away intruders with noise rather than warning the receptions or owners that there was something wrong at one of the cabins. The one speaker was malfunctioning and would not go off when we pressed the button, it kept making noise so we literally took out the batteries. Nobody even came to check why the alarm had made a noise or was disabled. That is when we realised that there was no actual security for our belongings in the cabin. In the whole cabin, there was one light. There was no light outside on the balcony and the light in the cabin could also not be moved closer to the balcony to provide light. We sat in the dark on the balcony and guessed where our food was on the plates, the alternative to eating was sitting inside on the bed as there is no sitting area in the cabin. You also have to park the car quite a distance from the cabin we were staying in which meant that gaining access to the vehicle when leaving was quite a walk, and when we got there the receptionist looked at our car and she made the comment that she was not quite sure if our vehicle would be able to drive the terrain to the parking space. Nowhere was it indicated that smaller cars are not ideal to get to the cabins. Overall, they will never see us again. We were grossly overcharged for the facilities we got, their website is misrepresenting regarding what is included in the cabin.

Baie aangenaam en rustig.

Dit was die heel eerste keer wat ons 'n plek bespreek het deur die webtuiste, nie vir een oomblik spyt daar oor nie. De Wildt 4x4 sal ek beslis aanbeveel vir enige iemand om te gaan, hulle het elke dag uit hulle pad uitgegaan om skoon te maak om ons en ons braaigeriewe. Vir enige iemand wat van bosveld hou is De Wildt beslis die plek om na heen te gaan. Fantastiese diens wat hulle daar lewer.

Rustig en genotvol.

Was baie lekker. Is baie vriendelik ontvang. Het die staproete baie geniet en lekker ontspan by die swembad. Sal definitief weer daar gaan bly en sterk aanbeveel.

Baie duur vir ongerief.

Stoele heel ongemaklik. Geen werksblad om kos op te maak nie.
