Named after the children's 'tag' game, Die Laaitjie offers self-catering accommodation, nestled in the smallest and last of the Dassieshoek valleys in the Langeberg mountains. Die Laaitjie is situated in a remote location, only 7 km from the town of Robertson.
Accommodation at Die Laaitjie comprises 1 Main House and 3 Cottages. The Main House can accommodate 8 guests and comprises 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, 2 living areas with a fireplace in each, a TV room, and a verandah overlooking a swimming pool.
Each Cottage can accommodate 4 persons and comprises 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a well-equipped kitchenette, and a living area with a fireplace; each cottage has an external braai area on a deck, overlooking a communal splash pool.
Die Laaitjie is situated on a 330-hectare farm that forms part of the Rooiberg Conservancy. The surrounding mountains themselves are filled with hiking, trail running, 4x4 tracks, waterfalls, rock pools, or those who just want to have a quiet farm stay can experience tranquil farm living at its best.
