The Skaap Kraal Guest House is located on small holding, East of Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa. Manager, Eloise Marais and her husband share a passion for farming. Together they have nourished a prosperous sheep farm where they produce fine wool and exceptional lamb meat. After restoring the beautiful old skaap kraal, they decided it was the ideal place for a Guest House. The small holding lies nestled in the heart of the Cullinan Conservancy offering spectacular panoramic views of grass fields and dams. Here guests can delight in country comfort away from bustling city life and escape to an authentic, sheep farm experience with rustic charm.
The lodging area features 12 beautifully restored and farm style bedrooms, each uniquely decorated with refreshing colors and handmade artwork. All rooms are en-suite with a shower and come with fresh linens and towels. Guests only bring their own soap, shampoo and toiletries needed according to their own needs. Guests have access to a communal kitchen area with a fridge and all necessary amenities. The Guesthouse is self catering and offer cleaning options at extra costs.
The property offers plenty of space for friends and family to relax and enjoy outdoor activities. Have a seat on the outdoor patio or gather around the braai pit and enjoy good food and company. The perfect venue with lots of space and room for birthday activities.
Guest are encouraged to discover some of the finest restaurants in Pretoria, such as Cullinan which is just around the corner of the Guest House. It is nearby all the main businesses, stadiums, shopping malls and more. We look forward to welcoming you as our guest.
We offer a come and go on our own facility where guests sometimes check themselves in and out with the relevant information from the owner a few days prior accommodation date.
