Description
Drop Anchor offers cosy overnight accommodation with a private entrance on the owner’s property in the heart of Gordon’s Bay. It is an ideal option for a couple or solo travellers, as it is located just a stone’s throw from the beach – only dunes separate the sea from the accommodation.
This unit can accommodate a maximum of 2 guests at a time and features an open-plan design. It is furnished with a comfortable double bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. Linen and bath towels are provided; however, guests are required to bring their own beach towels.
In addition, the unit includes a fan, bar fridge, microwave, cutlery and crockery, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available, although streaming is not permitted. Please note that the unit is not fully self-catering, but guests are welcome to heat and enjoy prepared meals (such as Woolworths meals). There is no TV.
Guests have access to the garden, which offers braai facilities, including a fold-up braai, a small Weber, and a fire pit with surfboard seating. The lookout deck is also available for use and is the perfect spot to enjoy a sundowner while taking in the 360° views of the sea and mountains.
Please note that there are no fences in front of the park. However, there is a security gate at the entrance, and parking is secure. There have been no incidents to date.
