Extremely stylish, beautiful location, and good facilities. Fantastic stay. The location is spectacular, it feels like the world is deserted for hundreds of kilometres in every direction, and yet it is not unreasonably far from civilisation. Actually hoped there was no WiFi at all, because then one would not be tempted, but for those who absolutely must have internet access, it is an option – quite stable. The gravel road to the lodge was in very good condition (end of October 2025). We saw quite a few tortoises on the way in, small game here and there, and a lot of birdlife. Would have liked to explore more of the farm on foot, but we only walked to the top of the hill and the view was beautiful. The decor and layout, everything is very neat and stylish. We had a very nice stay! This is a beautiful lodge. The decor is beautiful and the rooms are tastefully furnished. Lovely fireplace with wood in the bedroom and an optional outdoor shower with lovely hot water! The common area is beautiful and the kitchen is excellently equipped. This is a must stay for anyone visiting the Karoo.

Lovely calming way to end our summer holiday. We had a wonderful stay at Eco Karoo, it was very hot so the pool was most welcome and used from 7am! The facilities are excellent and even the WiFi was very good for such a remote location. We would highly recommend Eco Karoo!
