Old but gold. Spent 2 nights in 8 Bells. Had a family room with a separate bedroom. Very clean and comfortable. This is not a venue for the trendy types. Fantastic, superb, enjoyable and very relaxing. From the moment we arrived, the welcoming was superb. Staff are very friendly and engaging. Fantastic well-manicured gardens - bird lovers' paradise. The country feel the horses in the paddock give you is calming. Fantastic facilities which cater for all. Accommodation, breakfast and dining were delicious and very well prepared and presented.

We had a wonderful stay at Eight Bells Mountain Inn. Relaxed and rejuvenated. We had problems with the shower in the rooms we were originally booked into, but we received excellent service and they changed our rooms the next day. The new rooms were much better. The rooms we were originally booked into need to be upgraded though. The views were stunning, and there is quite a lot to do at the inn: bowls, squash, tennis, table tennis, billiards, board games, and a library, so lots to keep ourselves busy even with 3 days of rain. Our breakfast was good, and they attended to our special halal needs. Supper was a bit of a problem due to our special halal requirements; we didn't have much to choose from during our 7-day stay, but the staff was very accommodating to all our needs. We really enjoyed our stay, and the staff were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. However, due to our special needs, we would have loved a mini kitchen with a microwave and a mini fridge to make some of our own meals. The only thing missing for us. The WiFi was really very bad, and something really needs to be done about it.
