Five star luxury at two star prices! Exceptional view and attentive hosts. Don’t miss this one. Impeccable accommodation with every little detail attended to. And your own private deck overlooking Walker Bay! The décor is something else, with interesting antiques and rugs and intriguing books. And soothing art - even in the spacious bathroom. Restful. Barbecue. Nice view. Wi-Fi. Ensure value for money. We had a great barbecue with a stunning view. During loadshedding there were lights inside that were burning. Eirene’s Place has everything you need – a beautifully decorated apartment, a comfortable bed with bespoke linen, a luxurious bathroom, a very enticing book collection, and everything you need to prepare yourself a meal. Add to this a spectacular sea view, and you are in heaven. You know what? This is where our “Whoo-hoo-hoo” experience started. We were invited to attend a wedding at Murasie in Baardskeerdersbos and had booked (some three months ago) for a Friday and Saturday evening. Life happens, so our circumstances changed between booking our accommodation and the actual date. That Friday, we helped our son move into a flat because he was starting a new job. At the end of the Friday, we realised that we were complete ‘poegaai’, so driving to De Kelders would have just been a schlep rather than a joy. So, we called Don and Carol to tell them not to wait for us. Upon arrival on Saturday late morning, Don and Carol invited us for a light breakfast before we leave on Sunday … on the house! And there we were … sitting like millionaires on a deck where you can see forever (just like in the picture), waves crashing on the rocks, and dolphins frolicking in the waves. The breakfast?
