Highland Karoo highlight. Everything was fantastic - very hospitable people and an absolutely beautiful environment. Stargazing, bird watching, making a fire and braaiing something in the old-fashioned lapa with a hedge was all delicious. Wonderful big, warm bread rolls with butter and homemade apricot jam, a pack with 2 frozen pieces of lamb ribs in the freezer and a delicious variety of rusks in a jar at the coffee and tea station in the kitchen awaited us. The lawn in front of the house is very comfortable in high summer under the tree at a cement table and chairs. The beautiful clean cement dam with the windmill next to it is a relief with a view of this special part of the Great Karoo that leaves you amazed. Microwave, kettle, air fryer, AGA stove, toaster and all sorts of other useful appliances. Even the necessary to bake bread (pans, mixing bowls etc.)!
