If you are running late and will be arriving after 16:00 please contact the lodge to advise your estimated arrival time.
- Travel to Inhambane town, turn right at the pier and proceed to the roundabout.
- Enter the roundabout at the number 6 mark and exit at 3.
- Follow signs to Tofo and Barra.
- Approximately 26km from Inhambane town the road splits keep on straight.
- Follow this road for approximately 7km you will see a large sign saying Sunset lodge
- Turn here and follow the road straight do not veer off to the left.

Deflate tyres as the road is soft and sandy.
- Carry on straight right to the end of the road at the lighthouse.
- The road turns sharply left and down a concrete ramp.

Farol da Barra is situated on the beach the reception is on your left.
