Set within the affluent, safe and secure Simbithi Eco Estate, Feverberry Lodge offers the feel of a private coastal lodge, with expansive views over the KwaZulu-Natal coastal forest and golf course from every room.
Architecturally designed to maximise light, space and airflow, the home features generous proportions, high-quality finishes, garden walls, and a wraparound balcony connecting the bedrooms to the surrounding views. It is a calm, spacious and beautifully layered home — ideal for family get-togethers, relaxed holidays, cooking together, long lunches, and slow coastal living.
The home sleeps 10 guests comfortably on extra-length beds, dressed in gorgeous Egyptian cotton linen, with mattresses available for 2 additional guests if required. There are 5 bedrooms and 7 well-appointed bathroom facilities, including a combination of en-suite bathrooms, dedicated shower rooms, baths and separate toilets, making the home especially comfortable for larger family groups.
Each bedroom enjoys stunning views over the forest, estate and golf course. The first main bedroom has an extra-length king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with both a bath and double walk-in shower. The second bedroom has an extra-length king-size bed with a dedicated toilet and shower. The third bedroom has an extra-length queen-size bed with a dedicated bath and toilet. The fourth bedroom is another main bedroom with an extra-length king-size bed, walk-in shower and toilet. The fifth bedroom is a separate flatlet, ideal for guests wanting added privacy, with its own en-suite shower and toilet, couch, TV and coffee-making facilities. There is also a guest loo downstairs.
The living spaces are warm, elegant and designed for easy entertaining. The main open-plan area includes a large solid wooden dining table, comfortable large leather couches, handcrafted wooden pieces and Persian rugs. Multiple lounges give everyone room to gather or retreat, including a Smart TV lounge and a separate DStv and games lounge.
The home has two kitchens. The main entertainer’s kitchen includes a Smeg baker’s oven, Smeg gas hob, double-door fridge, microwave and breakfast bar. A separate butler’s kitchen includes a scullery, second oven, washing machine and tumble dryer. Ironing facilities are also available if required. The kitchen is fully equipped.
Outside, the large swimming pool is perfect for refreshing dips on warm Ballito days, with loungers and an umbrella for relaxed afternoons by the water. The sea is 600m away. There is also a gas braai for convenience, outdoor dining area and outdoor lounge space, ideal for evening drinks, family meals and relaxed time together.
The home includes a study and Wi-Fi throughout.
