House Rules

Please consider your use of electricity. Although a cosy home is provided on arrival, guests are requested to switch off lights and electric blankets when not in use. The same applies to gas heaters.

Please do not smoke inside the house.

Gates must be kept closed at all times, as there are free-roaming cattle, pigs, horses, and sheep in the area, which may damage the garden if gates are left open.

A few additional notes during your stay:
• Towels are provided.
• The area may lose mobile signal during load-shedding, so guests are advised to download content for streaming prior to arrival. Field Cabin offers WiFi with the password “Gorgeous”.

• This unit is let on a fully self-catering basis.
• Additional fees may be charged for any damage or extra cleaning required if the unit is left in an unfavourable condition.

Please note that there are no ATMs in town, and most shops and restaurants accept card payments. However, it is advisable to carry some cash for periods when the mobile signal is unavailable, as card machines may be affected, as well as for market days.

Please also note that no fuel is available for purchase after 12h00 on Saturday afternoons, Sundays, and public holidays, so guests are advised to refuel before returning home.
