Funane Wildsplaas – Chalets is located in the Bojanala District Municipality in the North West Province of South Africa.
The farm offers nature and wildlife enthusiasts the opportunity to explore vast bushveld landscapes, home to a wide variety of unique flora and fauna. Accommodation options include Swarthaak Chalets 1 and 2, Swarthaak Chalets 3 and 4, and the Karee Damhuis.
Swarthaak Chalets 1 and 2 are furnished with a double bed and a bunk bed suitable for children under 12 years. Swarthaak Chalets 3 and 4 are each furnished with 4 single beds. All chalets feature en-suite bathrooms fitted with a shower and toilet. Linen and bath towels are provided. The kitchenettes are fully equipped for self-catering and include a two-plate stove with a mini oven, a bar fridge, as well as cutlery and crockery. Each chalet also has its own braai area, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sounds of the bushveld.
Karee Damhuis is a charming thatched cabin, ideal for a romantic getaway. It is furnished with a double bed and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower and toilet. Linen and towels are provided. The kitchenette is well equipped and includes a bar fridge, two-plate stove with mini oven, toaster, kettle, cutlery, and crockery. This open-plan unit also features braai facilities and offers beautiful views of the dam.
Funane Wildsplaas also offers additional camping and caravan sites (guests must bring their own equipment), located approximately 500 m from the chalets, ideal for more adventurous visitors.
There is a lapa with ample seating, a pool table, and a braai area where guests can relax and enjoy the bushveld atmosphere. On-site activities include swimming, cycling, birdwatching, and hiking. A lovely play area for children makes this an ideal destination for families.
Please note that a minimum stay of 3 nights is required over long weekends.
