Escape the city and reconnect with nature at our working farm along the Breede River in Buffeljagsrivier, Western Cape. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Langeberg Mountains, magical sunsets, and a true back-to-earth experience. Gaia Sanctuary is perfect for romantic getaways, family holidays, or anyone who loves nature and eco-friendly living.

Guests can stay in our off-grid glampsite, bespoke A-frame cabin, or boho River cabin, all with river views. We are pet-friendly, so your furry friend can join in the adventure. Enjoy farm walks, birdwatching, kayaking, fishing, swimming in the river, or simply relaxing by the water.

The glampsite features a kitchen deck with a gas stove, sink, seating, and braai area, as well as a communal fire pit and access to a jungle gym and river amenities. Ablution facilities include gas-powered hot showers and flushing toilets for glamping, and a solar-heated shower with a compost toilet for the rustic campsite. Pets are welcome with prior approval, and owners are responsible for cleaning up and any damages.
