Ganora Bush Caravan Camp Site is situated in Nieu-Bethesda, a quaint village nestled in the fertile valley of the Sneeuberg Mountains near Graaff Reinet. Functioning as a working sheep farm, Ganora offers visitors an authentic taste of life on a traditional Karoo Farm.
The campsite features 6 shaded sites with electricity, each capable of accommodating up to 4 guests, ideal for pitching your own caravan or tent. The generously-sized ablution facility features hot water showers for added convenience, alongside a washing-up station set up for guests' convenience.
Upon request and for an extra fee, guests can enjoy meals served in various charming locations such as the homestead dining room, verandah, spacious dining hall, or occasionally amidst the garden's leafy canopy. Following dinner, guests are treated to one of the country's finest stargazing experiences.
Guided Day tours: Bushman rock Art, Fossil museum talk, medicinal plant walk. 6 Marked hiking and cycling routes can be enjoyed by campers. A birding list is available to the birders.
For those seeking respite from the heat, Ganora offers a shared swimming pool, farm reservoir, and dam, perfect for a refreshing dip. Each site is equipped with braai facilities, with water points readily available.
