Absolutely lovely, thanks. Lovely. Everything you need - just the WiFi was an issue as we couldn't work from the cottage and needed to drive somewhere for a data signal as this for Vodacom isn't available at the cottage either. That was really inconvenient. But otherwise, perfect and charming.

Vals advertensie. Akommodasie is goed en diens redelik, maar nie volgens hulle advertensie nie - daar is nie veilige parkeerplek vir jou voertuig nie. Ongelukkig verskaf sulke vals advertensies alle vertroue en dus kan ek hulle nie aanbeveel nie.

Dear Christo, thank you for the review. Please note, however, that we do not advertise the parking other than to say it is street parking and perfectly safe. We also go on to say (both in the listing and in the welcome message that you receive before the day of arrival) that if guests would like to park off-street, they are welcome to do so and to let us know so we can assist them with it on the next-door property. As the next-door property is a children's charity, we ask that guests contribute a small donation if they would like to use the facility, so the choice was yours.

Beautiful home close to Camdeboo National Park. What a beautiful house! Wooden floors with spacious rooms, interesting art and furniture, and an old-world vibe that we loved — the Garden Cottage is an absolute gem! As a family of seven (2 adults, 5 kids), this self-catering accommodation was well-equipped, including a braai, outdoor seating and table, as well as a small pool (which we very much appreciated on the hot days we were in Graaff-Reinet). The cottage is a 10-15 minute walk from Pick n Pay and other local convenience stores and coffee shops (Farm Fare next to Pick n Pay has delicious homemade baking!). Camdeboo National Park is a 10-minute drive — the Valley of Desolation (in the park) is a definite must-see when you’re not chilling in the Garden Cottage or enjoying the extraordinary Karoo landscape in other ways. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay — thank you for having us!

Ruim netjies skoon geen WiFi. Die eenheid word met WiFi geadverteer, maar daar is geen WiFi opvangs nie. Verder 'n ruim lekker huis, skoon en netjies.

Beautiful cottage. Home away from home. The perfect halfway stop. The directions to the cottage were not very clear and we got a bit lost. There wasn't safe parking at the guesthouse, which was a bit concerning seeing we were moving and most of our home contents were in the back of our bakkie. But other than that, the place is really beautiful, clean and we had a good night's rest.
