Description
GF Safaris is a private natural heritage site offering accommodation between Kimberley and Jacobsdal along the Magersfontein Battlefield route. This game farm is home to a variety of wildlife, including buffalo, and provides a tranquil setting for couples, families, hunters and solo travellers.
The lodge offers 4 accommodation options.
Buffalo Suite features an open-plan living area with a bedroom and kitchenette. The unit includes a private KolKol wood-fired hot tub and overlooks the swimming pool and Buffalo Dam.
Sable Luxury Suite and Zebra Luxury Suite each comprise open-plan living and sleeping areas with en-suite bathrooms. Each unit can accommodate up to 3 guests and offers views over the Buffalo Dam.
Bush Camp is located approximately 3 km from the main lodge and is booked exclusively. It comprises the Meerkat, Springhaas and Bakoor chalets. The camp operates on solar power and gas only, offering an off-grid experience suitable for groups, hunters or families.
Guests have access to a swimming pool and Wi-Fi at the main lodge. Additional activities, including game drives, sunset picnics and braai packs with salads, as well as other meals, can be arranged on request at an additional cost.
