Description

Gkhui Gkhui River Lodge is situated in the Northern Cape, between Orania and Hopetown, and boasts a variety of game in an area of more than 20 000 hectares. Gkhui Gkhui River Lodge is an exclusive lodge for the bespoke individual who enjoys secluded nature. An abundance of birds and waterfowl, and arguably the best fly-fishing water on the Orange River, make this a destination worth travelling to.

Accommodation is available in standalone riverfront rooms, comprised of 6 individually and tastefully decorated chalets all with private decks overlooking the river. These units are furnished with either a king-size bed or 2 three-quarter size beds, and all rooms feature an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, a shower and an outdoor shower. In addition, each unit contains air-conditioning, tea- and coffee-making facilities and a private deck with seating. All are a short walk from the swimming pool.

Accommodation includes a continental breakfast followed by a traditional Karoo-style warm breakfast. Dinner can be arranged in advance for an additional cost.

There is also conference facilities, free Wi-Fi, and access to a variety of other activities, such as hunting and fishing, or guests can relax on the deck alongside the swimming pool while overlooking the river. River rafting and spa treatments can also be arranged in advance.
