Glen Avon Farm is a beautiful and historic, seventh generation farm nestled at the foot of the Boschberg Mountains, just 12 km from Somerset East (KwaNojoli).
Accommodation is available in 2 sleeper, 5 sleeper and 6 sleeper cottages. The cottages are set in lush surroundings.
It is a paradise for family getaways, where children are encouraged to take part in daily farm activities such as hand milking, herding sheep and goats.
The dams are stocked with trout and bass for fly fishing. Hiking trails of varied length are laid out. For the keen birders, there are over 250 species including several lifers. The farm tracks enable mountain bikers a wide variety of options, some technical routes and other less demanding tracks. Several historic buildings such a the water mill, shearing shed, farm shed and also the homesteads tell a story of tough Scottish forefathers.
