Greenfern Lodge and Chalets are located on a farm in the heart of a forest in Plettenberg Bay, offering comfortable and tranquil accommodations to friends, family, or business travelers.
The Lodge is a wood and stone double-storey house that comprises 6 bedrooms and can accommodate 14 guests. The one bedroom is furnished with a double bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. The second bedroom is furnished with 4 single beds which can be converted into a double bed if required. It has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, basin, and toilet. The third, fourth, fifth, and sixth bedroom each has twin beds that can be converted into a double bed and each have an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. Linen and bath towels are provided, however, guests are required to bring their own swimming towels.
The lodge has a communal kitchen, open-plan dining, and lounge room. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, oven, microwave, basic cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. There’s a dining area with a 12-seater dining table that expands into the lounge room which is furnished with comfortable couches, and a TV with a full selection of DStv channels, and boasts a cosy fireplace for the cold winter evenings. Upstairs there is a large living area with an outside deck overlooking the garden and sparkling swimming pool which is exclusive for the use of the Lodge's visitors.
Apart from the lodge, there are also 5 chalets that can sleep 4 guests each. It is furnished with a queen-size bed and has a sleeper couch and a mezzanine with an extra mattress. The units each have a bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. All linen and bath towels are provided, however, guests are required to bring their own swim towels. The unit has a kitchenette equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, oven, microwave, basic cutlery and crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities.
There is a bench and braai facilities for each chalet. Guests have access to safe and secure parking spaces on the premises. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout all the units when the signal is available.
This property is 8 km from the main road on a dirt road and half an hour's drive from Knysna or Plettenberg Bay. There is plenty to do in the area from bike trails, and walking trails to wine tasting, quad bikes, Ziplines, and pristine beaches.
