Description
Grootwater Game Lodge & Camping is situated in the heart of the renowned Waterberg Biosphere, offering a rustic and scenic retreat for up to 6 guests. This lodge is an ideal choice for nature lovers, small groups, or those looking to host birthday celebrations and intimate functions in the bushveld.
The "Kraal" section consists of 2 wooden cabins, each featuring a bedroom furnished with a double bed and a single bed. Both cabins have an en-suite bathroom with a shower. For a true bush experience, an additional outdoor shower and extra toilet are available. Tenting space can also be arranged on request for larger groups.
The lodge features a communal kitchen equipped with an electric stove, microwave, fridge, and all necessary pots, pans, and cutlery. Guests can unwind in the separate lapa, which includes a lounge area and a bar. A small splash pool is available to keep guests cool on warm summer days.
For those who prefer traditional camping, there are 2 campsites available, each accommodating 8 to 10 guests. These sites have their own ablution facilities and access to a splash pool.
Grootwater Game Lodge is famous for its spectacular sunsets. Guests can book game drives in advance or explore the sandy farm tracks on foot or by mountain bike. The farm is a haven for birdwatchers, boasting a diverse variety of local bird species.
The property is located within the Waterberg region, roughly 50 km from Lephalale and within easy reach of various private game reserves and the Marakele National Park.
