Hadley Guest Farm is located at the foot of the Baviaanskloof Mountains, approximately 50 km from Steytlerville and 50 km from Patensie. It is accessed via a gravel road along the Groot River and offers farm-style accommodation in a rural setting.
Accommodation includes self-catering units at De Hoek along the Groot River, The Skuur, and Gooseberry, as well as campsites at De Hoek and The Skuur. Excluding campsites, the units can accommodate up to thirty-nine guests in total. Bed linen and towels are provided in the units. The farm operates on solar power and battery lighting. There is no mobile phone reception, and WiFi is available at the main house for emergencies.
On-site facilities include braai areas with firewood provided, with additional wood available for purchase. Guests must bring their own swimming towels. Activities on the farm include hiking trails, mountain biking, swimming, fishing, rock climbing, stargazing, guided picnics, horse riding, 4x4 routes, game drives, photography, and bird watching. Equipment is not provided.
The property forms part of the 5-day Grootrivierpoort Hiking Trail in partnership with Bucklands Guest Farm. It is also used for organised cycling events, horse-riding groups, and team-building stays.
