Halfway Rest offers four separate open-plan units that can accommodate a total of 12 guests.
Halfway Rest 1 features a queen-size bed, two single beds, and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet, and basin. The kitchenette is equipped with a microwave, fridge, tea- and coffee-making facilities, and a gas bottle for use during load-shedding, as well as a dining area. Complimentary coffee, tea, sugar, and milk are provided on arrival. The sleeping area includes a TV with DStv and free Wi-Fi. Additional amenities include a fan, electric blankets on the beds, and air conditioning that operates with a prepaid electricity token.
Halfway Rest 2 is a smaller open-plan unit suitable for two guests, offering two single beds and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet, and basin. The kitchenette includes a microwave, kettle, fridge, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Complimentary coffee, tea, sugar, and milk are provided on arrival. The unit also features a TV with DStv, free Wi-Fi, a fan, electric blankets, and air conditioning powered by a prepaid electricity token.
Halfway Rest 3 is an open-plan unit with a double bed, two single beds, and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet, and basin. Guests have access to braai facilities, a boma area, and secure on-site parking. There is ample space for a caravan or trailer. A water tank with a pump and a generator is available for load-shedding that occurs in the evenings.
