Hartsrust Karoo Lodge is a charming and spacious self-catering game lodge nestled on the outskirts of Leeu Gamka, in the heart of the Karoo. The lodge offers a comfortable yet rustic escape, making it an ideal base for families and friends seeking a tranquil Karoo holiday.

The lodge accommodates up to 17 guests across its main house and a small flatlet. The main house features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms are furnished with 3 three-quarter beds each, while the third bedroom offers 7 three-quarter beds, making it perfect for larger groups. Guests share 2 bathrooms, one with a bath and shower and the other with a shower only. The flatlet adds extra sleeping space with 4 three-quarter beds and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. Wi-Fi is available for convenience.

The open-plan living area includes comfortable seating, an indoor braai, a TV with DStv channels, a dining table, and a bar area. The fully equipped kitchen offers a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, and coffee- and tea-making facilities. Outside, guests can unwind on the patio, enjoy a braai at the fire pit, and take in the serene natural surroundings.

For a true Karoo experience, Hartsrust Karoo Lodge offers special veld lunches or game drives, which can be arranged directly with the host, making it an ideal escape from city life.
