Hill Billion Hotel is conveniently located near Shelly Beach, perched on a hill just above Oslo Beach along the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast. The hotel caters to a variety of guests, from holidaymakers to business travellers, and is ideal for families or corporate stays. The lodge overlooks the warm Indian Ocean on one side and offers panoramic views on the other, complemented by terraced gardens and a stunning swimming pool.
Accommodation comprises 11 hotel rooms and 4 self-catering units, all equipped with fans. Each suite features a private bathroom, coffee- and tea-making facilities, and a TV with OpenView channels. The 4- to 6-sleeper self-catering units include two bedrooms, a fully fitted kitchen open to a lounge area, and a private patio with ocean views.
Some units can accommodate up to five guests, with a combination of double and single beds across the bedrooms. Each bathroom is fitted with a shower, bath, basin, and toilet. The lounge areas are furnished with comfortable seating and a TV with selected DStv channels.
The lodge offers a restaurant and sports bar, serving meals from 06:00 to 20:00. Special dietary requirements can be accommodated if arranged in advance. Takeaway meals and room service are also available on request.
The lodge operates on solar panels and inverters, ensuring 24-hour power supply. The access road has recently been tarred, and a large race track for cars and motorbikes is situated just 500 metres away. Additional security is provided by CCTV and a roving guard on duty nightly from 18:00 to 06:00.
