Description
Homely Elphinstone Accommodation offers central, peaceful and private accommodation ideal for corporate guests or holidaymakers in Blouberg. The property is 1.7 km from a popular kite-surfing beach, and very close to 2 shopping centres with coffee shops, laundry, restaurants and movies. The city centre and Table Mountain are only 20 km away.
Accommodation is offered in 2 separate options, a guest room in the main house, and a self-catering flat adjacent to the main house.
The guest room in the main house can accommodate 1 guest, and contains a double bed, a bar fridge, and a work desk and chair. A variety of books are available for guests to read. The room has exclusive use of a bathroom with a walk-in shower, a toilet and a washbasin. Guests in the guest room are welcome to make use of the main house kitchen, lounge and dining area.
The self-catering flat can accommodate up to 6 guests but preferably maximum 4 adults and 2 children (living room has 2 sofa beds), and comprises 1 bedroom, a mezzanine loft bedroom, 1 full bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The bedroom contains 2 single beds that can be converted to a king-size bed. The upstairs mezzanine loft-style room contains also 2 single beds that can be converted to a king-size bed. The bathroom contains a shower-over-bath, a toilet, a washbasin and a bidet. The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering with a stove and oven, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, and cutlery and crockery. The dining area contains a 6-seater dining table and chairs. The lounge contains 2 single sleeper couches or sofa beds, a fireplace, an air-conditioning unit for heating and cooling, and a Smart TV with Netflix. There is also a small desk and a safe for valuables. For working professionals there is a large desk with drawers. The flat has a sliding door that opens to a covered patio with outdoor dining furniture and a built-in braai.
Both the guest room and the self-catering flat have fast uncapped fibre Wi-Fi with a mini UPS that to last up to 3 hours, so that the Wi-Fi will not be affected by power cuts. Wi-Fi speed is 50 Mbps uncapped, unshaped, there are total 3 routers in the premises so you can get full speed anywhere in the premises.
Both units have free weekly cleaning and changing sheets and towels service, especially for long stays.

Guests will have shared use of the beautiful garden and the solar-heated swimming pool with safety cover. Secure off-street parking is available on the premises.
In the garden, you may come across the 2 friendly free-roaming resident bunnies.. They love attention and you can pet them, but please watch your step and try not to step on or hurt them.
