Breakage Deposit

A refundable breakage deposit of R500 is payable directly to the property.

House Rules

This cottage is attached to the main house but completely self-sufficient, with its own enclosed courtyard and communal areas.

There is an undercover parking area, a deck and an indoor pool.

Please advise the owner of the planned use to ensure access for your comfort and enjoyment.

Please note that the use of the Braai and Braai room facilities in the main house, which is part of the pool area, is not available for guests at this time, but parents are welcome to relax in the lounge area whilst children swim. Swimming times are flexible on request, and we will leave the pool area open for you from 10:00 until 17:00. You can access the pool area via the deck entrance and sliding door.

We have three four-legged children, who roam freely on the property, and they will be eager to greet you and get to know you. If you have concerns, please contact the Host to make arrangements according to your requirements.

One remote will be provided. Should you require more than one remote, please make necessary arrangements with the owner.

Cleaning services are available at an additional cost by 14:00 each day for the next day, and this will not include Ironing or washing.

Please reduce noise from 22:00 to 06:00. To ensure a peaceful and enjoyable stay for everyone on the estate and our neighbours, we kindly ask that guests observe quiet hours from 22:00 to 06:00. During this time, please keep your voices low, especially outdoors. Avoid loud music or sound systems. Be mindful when arriving late or leaving early. Respect residents in the estate at all times.

Please be aware of the Water and electricity usage, try to save water, and switch off lights where you can. Hope Cottage makes use of borehole water and a Septic tank.

We kindly ask that all dishes are washed and packed away, equipment is cleaned after use, bins are emptied and bin bags are put outside the front door, and the cottage is left tidy.

Breakage deposit will be requested to be paid 50% upfront on arrival to the owner.
