Welcome to Imoyo Ocean Villa – your laid-back coastal retreat in Sandbaai, Hermanus.
Just steps from the shoreline, Imoyo is a spacious double-storey beach house designed for relaxed holidays with family and friends. This is not a polished 5-star guesthouse or a party house—it’s a simple, easy-going escape where the real luxury is the view, the ocean air, and time to unwind.
If you’re looking for fuss-free, no-frills comfort and don’t mind a bit of simplicity (yes, even opening a gate manually), then you’ll feel right at home here.
The villa comfortably sleeps up to 10 guests across 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. Two main bedroom suites (upstairs) are equipped with air-conditioning, while the rest of the home keeps things natural and breezy. For colder evenings, there is one heater and a cosy indoor braai area—so pack your winter essentials: gowns, blankets, bean bags… whatever keeps you warm and happy.
A quick note: this is our personal holiday home, so it’s intentionally kept simple. There is no cupboard hanging space, and we encourage guests to embrace a “less is more” mindset. Stock the house with what you love and need—this is your space to settle in and make your own.
Bonus space – Imoyo Flat:
Right next to the main house is a separate flat we added for extended family or friends visiting. The Imoyo Flat sleeps 4 guests and includes two bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower, and a small kitchenette (with airfryer and basic cooking essentials for easy, laid-back meals). It has its own private stoep and lovely views.
If you book both the villa and the flat together, you can comfortably accommodate up to 14 guests. Alternatively, the house and flat can also be rented separately—in which case the parking area may be shared with other guests.
Layout (Villa):
Upstairs features two king en-suite bedrooms (with showers) and a third bedroom with two single beds, using a separate bathroom with a bath.
Downstairs offers two queen bedrooms—one en-suite and one with a separate bathroom. Linen and bath towels are provided.
Living spaces:
The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with all the basics—stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine, and all essential crockery and cutlery. The kitchen flows into a relaxed lounge area with a TV and Wi-Fi.
There’s an indoor built-in braai for cosy nights, plus an outdoor braai area for sunny days and evenings under the stars.
Secure parking is available behind a gate. (Manually operated with a lock).
The bottom line?
Imoyo isn’t about luxury finishes—it’s about slowing down, soaking in the sea views, and reconnecting.
