Will do it again. It was a perfect mini-break with family. The cottage is lovely and plenty of interesting creatures walking around.

Peaceful bushveld atmosphere, but house is outdated and needs attention. We had a great stay and the house is comfortable, but a makeover or renovation would make it more inviting. An umbrella or awning is highly recommended. There is no shade to sit in - it was 35 degrees and shade would be greatly appreciated. So we mostly stayed inside. The dining room table only has 5 chairs. There is only seating for 3 in the living room. (Photos show other furniture). The unit was clean and tidy. All the basic kitchenware is there. Items recommended are a braai/steel casserole pot. There are no plastic containers/Tupperware.

Good, but have to solve the ant problem. The electricity was not prepaid and we were without electricity on the first evening. That meant that we did not sleep well the first night.
