Safe, peaceful, comfortable and exceed expectations.

If I could give the accommodation 6 stars, I would! It has everything you could ask for or need and more! All the additional treats, extras, and hospitality by the host were beyond what I have experienced before - the decor is also exceptional. I regularly drive between Piet Retief (Mkhondo) and Howick, and the accommodation will certainly be on the top of my list for a midway stop. I recommend the accommodation to anyone! Safe, peaceful, and comfortable. I wish I could have stayed longer!

Uitstekende verblyf.

Ons was verras met die oulike plek, ideaal vir 'n oorslaapplek. Die kamer is baie gerieflik ingerig en het ook baie mooi dekor. Groot lieflike tuin met baie parkeerplek as jy dalk 'n trailer sleep. Die kamer is aan die voorkant van die huis met sy eie ingang vanaf die stoep. Die eienaar is baie behulpsaam en vriendelik. Alles is nuut en goeie kwaliteit, bv. linne en aircon is groot genoeg om die totale area te dek. Die kamer is groter as wat ek verwag het van die foto's af.

Excellent stay.

We were surprised with the cute place, ideal for a stopover. The room is very comfortably furnished and also has very nice decor. Large lovely garden with plenty of parking if you might be towing a trailer. The room is at the front of the house with its own entrance from the porch. The owner is very helpful and friendly. Everything is new and good quality, e.g. linen and aircon are big enough to cover the total area. The room is bigger than I expected from the pictures.
