Jakkelsroep Plaas 76 is a private bushveld retreat situated on a farm approximately 40 km from Pretoria and 7 km from Dinokeng Nature Reserve. Located in a malaria-free area, the property offers a peaceful setting where guests can enjoy a nature escape while spotting free-roaming wildlife such as impala, nyala, zebra, ostrich, and blesbok.
Accommodation is offered in self-catering units, glamping tents, and campsites.
Unit 1 accommodates up to 4 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed, while the second bedroom contains 2 three-quarter beds. The unit features an open-plan kitchen and living area with air conditioning, a covered patio, braai facilities, a private splash pool, and a boma. This unit is pet-friendly.
Unit 2 also accommodates up to 4 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed and air conditioning, while the second bedroom contains 2 three-quarter beds and a fan. The unit features a fully equipped kitchen, a covered patio with a built-in braai, and a private swimming pool. This unit is pet-friendly.
The Luxury Tent Chalet accommodates 2 guests and features a queen-size bed, an en-suite bathroom with a bath and outdoor shower, a self-catering kitchenette, private braai facilities, air conditioning, and a jacuzzi. Please note that this unit is not suitable for children, does not allow additional guests, and the bathroom does not have a door.
The Meerkat Glamping Tent accommodates 2 adults and up to 2 children under the age of 12. The tent is furnished with a queen-size bed and a sleeper couch for children, who are required to bring their own bedding. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower. Additional facilities include air conditioning, an outdoor kitchen area, a boma, braai facilities, and a jacuzzi.
Out of Africa Luxury Tent accommodates up to 4 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms, an open-plan kitchen and lounge area, air conditioning, and a spacious veranda. The unit features a boma, wood-fired hot tub, and a bathroom fitted with a bath and shower.
Wi-Fi is available at the accommodation units but is not guaranteed due to weather conditions or service provider availability.
The camping area offers 2 shaded campsites, each equipped with electricity points and braai facilities. Guests have access to a shared ablution block fitted with a shower, toilet, and washbasin, as well as a shared swimming pool.
Guests can enjoy activities such as birdwatching, cycling, hiking, picnics, and spa treatments available by arrangement. Guests are also welcome to explore Jakkelsroep Lodge Plaas 68, located directly opposite the property, for additional accommodation
