Jakkelsroep Lodge is a private bushveld retreat situated on a farm in Dinokeng, just outside Pretoria. It is ideal for friends and families looking for a peaceful getaway, surrounded by the tranquility of the bushveld.
Guests can choose from various accommodation options depending on their needs. Options include a Lodge House, studio cottages, and rooms. Each unit features comfortable beds, private bathrooms, quality linens and towels, tea- and coffee-making facilities, and access to WiFi.
Lodge House: Two bedrooms, both with en-suite full bathrooms. The main bedroom has a king-size bed and two three-quarter beds; the second bedroom has a king-size bed. Open-plan lounge and kitchen area, gas stove with oven, lovely lounge patio with boma braai area, and a private swimming pool. Covered parking available.
Cottage 2: Three bedrooms. Main bedroom has an en-suite full bathroom, second bathroom with shower. Main bedroom has a king-size bed; the other two rooms each have 2 three-quarter beds. Open-plan kitchen and lounge, charming patio with boma braai facilities.
Cottage 3: Sleeps 2 guests. Open-plan lounge, kitchen, and bedroom area, king-size bed with en-suite full bathroom, lovely patio with built-in braai area.
Rooms 1–4: Each room has a king-size bed with air conditioning, en-suite bathroom with shower, small fridge, and coffee-making facilities. The rooms open onto a patio and lovely garden. Kitchen, lounge area, and braai facilities are shared, ideal for groups booking together. Covered parking available.
All accommodations include free WiFi, quality linens, and towels. Jakkelsroep also offers facilities such as 2 communal swimming pools, a children’s play area, and a function venue. On-site activities include birdwatching, cycling and hiking trails, picnics, and wildlife viewing.
