Great stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host. I had a wonderful stay at Judea! The space was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared. The check-in process was smooth, and the host was very responsive and helpful throughout my stay. The location was convenient, great view, quiet neighbourhood. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely stay here again!

Spacious accommodation within walking distance of the beach. The accommodation is spacious and well-stocked with bedding, kitchen supplies and games. For our party of 10, a dishwasher and washing machine would have been nice. The beach is a quick 5-minute walk away.

We had to go out more to enjoy ourselves because we were constantly reminded of noise. It was OK, but we couldn't enjoy the outside at night because of poor lighting, and we couldn't enjoy our music outside. There was a lot of mould on the dishwashing rack, and the stove wasn't clean. We couldn't use the oven, and we had to first clean the stove plates. They need to look at the bath tap, which is broken. The dartboard is very old; when you play darts, crumbs from the board fall on the floor. The place smelled like it had been closed for a couple of months without the windows being opened. They were constantly complaining about the noise, but the house accommodates around 12 people at a time. Mostly, we weren't home because the children couldn't properly enjoy themselves without being conscious of the noise. The owners never once checked up on us or came to greet us, even when we checked out.

Good day, it's quite astonishing that when some people book a house, they think that they are exempt from the laws of South Africa and because they paid, they can make as much noise as they please. When noise starts disturbing the whole street, and you have no respect for other property owners around you, then surely it becomes a problem. The noise was not coming from children, but adults that were sitting with music boxes outside for the whole neighbourhood to hear. All our guests enjoy music, and yet they still remain respectful of those around them. Betty's Bay is a Biosphere with strict light pollution laws at night; therefore, bright outside lights are not allowed on any property as it disturbs the nightlife. There is ample light for the hot tub at night when the balcony light is switched on. Kleinmond, Betty's Bay, Pringle Bay as well as Rooi Els work with septic tank systems; therefore, when the truck pumps the tank, there will be a smell, which quickly departs again.

Overall stay was nice. Main ensuite bathroom smells terrible, mould present. We enjoyed our stay. The place can do with a deep clean throughout. Broken floor tiles. It needs quite a bit of work. That said, I feel the owner took the maintenance into account and priced the unit correctly. I don't mind rustic at all.
