Clean and value for money. The host was fantastic. On arrival, I was welcomed with a bottle of wine and cold beers. The fully equipped kitchen hosts a two-place gas stove, microwave oven, and a fridge. With the extremely hot weather of Phalaborwa, the private pool came in handy to cool off. The owner was always available and responded quickly to any request. The cottage was clean, and the deck and the dam were to die for early morning bird watching or watching the sun setting. I will definitely be visiting again.

2 days is too short. This was truly a lovely cottage in the bush very friendly owners and we will definitely go here again.

Met and exceeded expectations! Everything was just perfect! Cornell fetched us from Phalaborwa and they waited even though we were late. I loved the privacy of our stay, the cottage was fully equipped, the views were stunning! It honestly is a serene place, the private pool came in handy as it was extremely hot. We constantly got visits from our zebra friends. My fiancé got to enjoy his fishing and the sound of a flowing river and frogs was the best! Made sure that our space was always spotless. Great. Cornel is a wonderful and friendly host, who went out of his way to drive to show us the way to his cottage. We had lovely conversations with him and enjoyed the raft on the dam for a sundowner. We will definitely stay again if we are in Phalaborwa again!

Aangename oornag plek op pad na die wildtuin. My man en ek het op die laaste oomblik slaapplek gesoek terwyl ons op pad na die wildtuin was. Die eienaar het vinnig gereageer op ons versoek en aangebied om ons te kom haal by 'n afgespreekte ontmoetplek, en ek kan eerlik sê dat hy geen moeite ontsien het om ons verblyf so aangenaam as moontlik te maak nie. Alles was silwerskoon en as jy van voëlkyk hou, is die dek op die dam baie lekker om uit te span en voëls te kyk.

Not so bad. We really enjoyed our stay even though the place was not clean. Hopefully, they will do better next time.

Magical, affordable, friendly, private and all round amazing. A magical experience. Such friendly hosts. A beautiful view. Amazing cottage to stay in (I mean so, so amazing). The hosts offered us food for an amazing price. We really cannot imagine a better place to stay in the bush.
