Overall a super stay, affordable and great staff. Would definitely recommend.

Enjoyed the stay. We rented the Leopard Chalet - very neat with nice finishes. Pros: Value for money - nice finishes, etc. for the price you pay. It was very quiet as we were mostly alone. Beds are definitely comfortable. Unit has DSTV (not full package) with 3 TVs. Unit has an oven, microwave, general cutlery, small fridge, pots and pans. Beautiful bathroom with a huge shower. Staff are friendly and eager to assist. Nice common areas with good finishes. Irene is very helpful - she even arranged a game drive for us. Cons: We only had cake forks in our unit (but used the forks from the communal kitchen). There were mostly 4 of each item in terms of cutlery (for larger groups, this may not be ideal). The fridge is small. Worked well for us - as we were only 2 and staying for 3 days. No freezer (only a quick freeze option). The oven was a bit dirty. The kitchen tap leaks. There are security lights on at night which are a bit bright. The rooms are therefore not as dark as some would prefer, but not the worst. Has space for 7 to sleep but the house is small.

Kamba's staff have difficulty communicating in Afrikaans or English. Construction on the site continued until 7 o'clock in the evening and resumed at 8 o'clock Sunday morning. A lot of noise. At 8 o'clock on Saturday evening they also did welding work on a window frame. There was also staff in our unit all the time to pick up something in the storage room or do laundry. No toaster or bowls for salad, meat or other dishes. No chair cushions for outside. One of the doors in unit also couldn't lock- felt unsafe because we were only ladies.
