Description

Kareelaagte Guest Farm offers comfortable self-catering accommodation on a picturesque farm located just off the N9 between Graaff-Reinet and Middelburg. This working sheep farm boasts lovely views of the surrounding mountain ranges and is the ideal place to escape bustling cities.

Accommodation is provided in a choice between 2 semi-detached units that enjoy views of the alfalfa fields. The first unit comprises 2 bedrooms and can accommodate 5 guests. The main bedroom contains a queen-size bed, while the second bedroom is furnished with a single bed as well as a bunk bed. The rooms share the use of a bathroom fitted with a shower and basin. A separate toilet is available.

The second unit can accommodate 6 guests and consists of 2 bedrooms. The main bedroom contains a queen-size bed and a single bed, while the second bedroom has a single bed as well as a bunk bed. The shared bathroom is fitted with a shower and basin, while the toilet is separate.

Each unit has a kitchen that is equipped with a 2-plate gas stove, fridge-freezer, microwave, and kettle. Both units open onto a porch with built-in braai facilities and an outdoor seating area where guests can unwind. Guests are afforded access to free Wi-Fi and secure parking.

During the lambing season, between October and February, kids are welcome to interact with farm animals such as miniature ponies, donkeys, horses, and lambs.
