Situated in the Eastern Cape, Kariega Game Reserve spans across 10000 hectares of pristine wilderness and is home to the famous Big-5 as well as a variety of bird species and wildlife. Kariega is a family-owned and operated private game reserve, giving it a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Set on African plains, magnificent hills, and dramatic river valleys, this hidden jewel combines spectacular and dramatic vistas with an abundance of African game and wildlife.
Ukhozi Lodge truly captures the romance and intimacy of Africa. Nestled in the bush you will discover 10 luxury suites. Each suite features a king-size bed, an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower and bath as well as a private deck and plunge pool from where one can enjoy the panoramic views of the valley. Amenities provided in the suites include air-conditioning and tea- and coffee-making facilities.
The lodge boasts unique African-style lounges, a restaurant, and a boma with an outdoor pool. Wi-Fi internet access is available at the lodge, but not in the suites. At the lodge, guests can unwind in front of warm log fires, enjoy sumptuous cuisine or simply share experiences of the African bush.
