It was absolutely wonderful to experience the peace and quiet of the Karoo. We had a wonderful stay. The visit was just too short. The hostess and host went out of their way to accommodate us and the service was excellent. It was wonderful to experience the greatness and handiwork of our Almighty Father again. Our stay was brief but felt deeply nourishing. We had a fantastic stay at Karoo Stilte. Tania and Caryl were great hosts, giving us lots of pointers on how to best enjoy the farm and its beautiful surroundings. In our short stay, we learnt a lot about farm life in the Karoo. The cottage had everything we needed, and the delicious banana bread Tania made for us was enjoyed by all. The plunge pool was a perfect spot to cool down and enjoy the sunset over the Karoo. Our highlights were the 7 km hike through the kloof in the early morning, an epic scenic drive towards Fraserburg bordering the Karoo National Park with lots of animals and birdlife sightings.
